Religious Logos
Religious logo designs for instance, associate
themselves with strong portrayal of angels dressed
in heavenly white and pink colors. In order to
catch the attention of the right flock of people
or congregations sharing the same religious beliefs,
a logo design must have the ability to send its
religious message across in a positive and comprehensible
manner.
Colors Use in Religious Logos
Due to the peaceful, sacred and heavenly nature
of Religious institutions, white is considered
to be the color dominating religious logo designs.
It depicts simplicity. Red is yet another color
which is critical to the development of such logo
designs. Red depicts feeling of joy, happiness
and purity among some believers. Purple and blends
of yellow and red are also equally important colors
in religious logos. Purple for one, is considered
as more of a sacred color in the eyes of believers
of the Christian faith. It symbolizes both royalty
and spirituality.
Religious Logos Representations
Religious logos are bound to consist of pictorial
representations of crosses staged behind a sunset
backdrop, and white doves with twigs of palm leaves
housed in the middle of their delicate beaks.
Other religious based logos are more likely to
include outlines of churches and even bibles.
Font Styles
The most widely used fonts in religious logo designs
are Monotype Corsiva and its family of related
fonts. Renaissance fonts and gothic styles are
also used in religious logo designs. These not
only highlight the history of a particular religion
but tend to reflect on the past history of the
church. To add that extra medieval and roman style
effect, calligraphy fonts are used in some religious
logo designs, to simply remind the religious believers
of the way their ancestors wrote in the ancient
times.
